Link: Right or Left - Does it Matter?
We’ve put a lot of thought into the design of Bambooz Poles, and today we’d like to highlight 2 unique features of our leather straps.
First, they’ve been asymmetrically designed to have a right and left side. The easiest way to differentiate them is with the metal hardware. Copper on the left and brass on the right….or “lite goes on right”. This is true for our Double-Barrel models and our Straight and Narrow and the backcountry specific Cold-Smokes.
The next feature is our “lie flat” webbing., The straps are designed to cradle your wrists, allow proper pole plant technique, and not interfere with the interface between you and the cork grips. You can achieve this with a simple “up and over” technique.
You’ll know everything is dialed whey the logo is upright and facing you. This means the webbing also “lies flat” between your gloves and grip, and the adjustable buckle is hidden from snagging on clothing or terrain. Just remember: White goes on Right and Up and Over
