Meet the Straight & Narrow, the under-aged sibling to the “Double-Barrel”. Although it lacks the internal flask, it keeps the rebellious spirit of its older brother. Slimmer, lighter, “whippier”, and ready to get rowdy. Same Bambooz craftsmanship and style, now in a “dry” version.

What length poles do I need?
Our length calculator is designed to put your elbow just below a 90° angle—right where most skiers feel balanced.
But in the end, pole length is all about personal preference.
✅ Want a little more reach for rippin’ groomers? Size up 1–2 inches for that classic 90° feel.
✅ Skiing tight trees or the park? Some folks like going shorter.
Are your old poles the right length? - stick with what works. Grab a tape measure and check from the top of the grip to the bottom of the tip to get the real measurement.
Is there a right/left pole?
Yes. The copper rivet is meant to be on the left side, while the nickel rivet (the lighter colored one) is intended for the right.

I chose the Straight and Narrow because they're fitting for a coach! They held up during the demands of ski race coaching: gates, demos, and even SkillsQuest Pole Jumpers. The pole grips wear in during the course of the season limiting hand fatigue, the pole straps don't fray, and the baskets are just the right size for poling through pow! Additionally, they had just enough flair to get comments in the lift line, and on the chair. I cannot recommend these enough, from the coach to weekend warrior!
I love everything about these. Light, stylish, forgiving. Just the right amount of flex....it might be the perfect pole.
These poles are beautiful 🤩. Love the leather straps. Super lite weight. People always ask about them.
I love how light weight these poles are. There are also several features to admire on these poles like the baskets and my personalized leather straps.
My buddy got the Bambooz with the flask, and I loved them. I don't drink, but wanted bamboo ski poles.
